Embolden text

I am making use of regular expressions to pick out patterns of text from objects before peforming other activities. Upon finding one of the patterns I would also like to embolden the matched text before performing my other tasks.

There are several hundred matched patterns in the body of material and an object itself can contain more than 1 matched pattern.

The reference manual has a setAttrFromHTML function, see example below. Is this the best strategy?

Buffer b = create
Object o = current Object
b = "hello world"
setAttrFromHTML(b, o."Object Text")

Should point out the word 'world' below should be surrounded by html tags for making the text bold, "" They have been processed upon posting the thread!!
